Banús and Nube are two beautiful long-haired cats who have spent their whole lives together.
Banús and Nube are two beautiful long-haired cats who have spent their whole lives together. Banús is a male and Nube is a female. They were born in October 2012 and will turn 14 this year.
Both were handed over to the health authorities by their owner, an elderly woman who, for personal reasons, could no longer look after them. Overnight, their lives changed completely and they are now at Triple A, trying to understand why they are no longer in the home where they have always lived.
At the moment, they seem bewildered. Everything is new to them: the smells, the sounds and the people around them. It is a particularly difficult situation for two senior cats who, after so many years of stability, have to adapt to a completely different environment.
Over the next few days, they’ll be moved to a room where we’ll be able to get to know their personalities better, take new photographs and record videos that show what they’re really like.
Our hope is that this time at Triple A will be just a stepping stone to a new home. After a lifetime with a family, Banús and Nube deserve to feel the peace, love and security of a home once again – preferably together.
