She is a beautiful Bengal mix kitten, with a very distinctive coat and the characteristic markings of this breed. When tested, she tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).
She is still very small and it’s hard to spot her in the room for FIV-positive cats, because she doesn’t understand diagnoses: she just wants to play, be stroked and feel loved.
Despite what it may seem, FIV-positive cats can lead long and happy lives with the right care. They are cats who enjoy life just as much as any other and who, very often, just need a chance to show all the love they have.
Bárbara is a sociable, playful and lively little cat who is always looking for company and play. For her emotional wellbeing, it would be ideal if she could be adopted alongside her sister Nina, who is also FIV-positive, with whom she shares a special bond, supporting each other in their daily lives.
💛 Adopting an FIV-positive cat is an act of immense love: it means giving them the chance to live with dignity, security and plenty of affection.
