Cloud is a young American Bully who was removed by the police from an owner who did not have a PPP license, but unlike most owners who then go and make a license, Cloud's human never contacted us again to ask about his dog..... Cloud is so sad and stressed in the shelter, he has already in this short time lost a lot of weight, even though he already came to the shelter quite skinny... He is a lovely, energetic boy, who really wants to be around humans, and cries when he has to stay alone in his kennel. He is coming from a home, so being locked alone in a room 23 hours a day, is a shock for his body, his heart and his soul. He walks well on the leash as soon as he has a chance to let out his first frustration, to run around a bit, to receive attention and love. The he relaxes and starts sniffing calmly, and walking nicely by your side. Cloud is quite calm around other dogs, and he is especially good with an adult, balanced, "educator" female, who would teach him good manners and good canine communication. He could be an only dog of a home, in which case we would really wish that he would have access to regular positive contact with other dogs, to remain social with other dogs. He could also join a home with an adult, confident and balanced female dog already present, who is not bothered about Cloud bumping into her with his big head, but would correct him, when he perhaps gets a bit excited. He would like a home with a confident human, who has dog experience already, as he does still need to learn some basics - for example at the moment he does not yet know "Sit" well, and when he sees a snack, he jumps high up in the air. Also he would appreciate some guidance on how to take snacks calmly and slowly, at the moment he has a shark mouth! For that reason, for the moment we would not rehome Cloud to a family with small children, so he does not bounce over kids and grab bananas from their hands. Cloud would be happy both in a house or in an apartment, as long as he could spend a lot of time together with his human. Cloud's shoulder height is 47cm. For adoption in Spain, a PPP registration would be needed, and the shelter will help with the process. Cloud is also shortly available for international adoptions.
