Nellie is a tortoiseshell cat who arrived at Triple A at the end of November 2023, just 3 months old and without her mother. When she first arrived at the shelter, she allowed petting and, although she was reserved, she would accept affection with a calm, gentle approach.
She later moved to a foster home, but as she grew older, she became increasingly distrustful of people.
Currently, Nellie lives at Triple A and usually spends much of her time perched on a log, where she feels safer, often accompanied by Penelope, another tortoiseshell cat with a similar personality who is also very wary. With other cats, however, she is sociable and lives with them without any issues.
Nellie needs a family with experience with cats, who understands her personality and respects her pace without forcing contact. With patience, stability, and a calm environment, she can continue to develop at her own rhythm.
