Claudia arrived at the shelter alongside her sisters Nerea, Laura and Lorena. She has grown up at Triple A since she was a kitten, surrounded by other cats, and this has made her very sociable with her feline companions.
However, she remains very shy around people. She doesn’t let anyone stroke her and, when someone approaches, she prefers to go somewhere else where she feels safer. At the moment, she is a difficult cat to handle, as she does not yet trust human contact enough.
Despite this, Claudia is a calm cat who gets on very well with other cats, with whom she interacts perfectly and from whom she also draws confidence.
A family with experience of shy or unsocialised cats would be ideal for her – one that understands her nature and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to progress at her own pace. It would also be very beneficial if there were other cats in the home, as feline company helps her a great deal and gives her confidence.
